I'm Dreaming of a White Fitzmas

Well I'm back! At least sort of. After discovering BlondeSense last winter I didn't see much sense in posting as others were doing such a great job of it. Well Haloscan is down today so I can't comment on all the great sites out there. But I've been thinking for a while I need to get back here and post something. I've at last added 2 of my favorite blogs, BlondeSense and Jesus' General, to the blog list and will add more in the near future.

It looks like the big question gripping the nation is what will we get for Fitzmas. Undoubtedly something but will it be enough to stop the slide into a fascist state? At no point should we assume that our government has returned to a functioning Democracy as long as any one who supported the war is a part of it. Let's face it - anyone who bothered to inform themselves before the war was aware that it was illegal, ill-advised and a total waste of America's resources. Those who did inform themselves knew that it would be the greatest blow to National Security in the history of the US. They knew that it would bankraupt the Treasury, destroy our military and damage our international credibility. In a very short time the bushistas have turned what was once a powerful nation into a second rate one. Congratulations to the anti-American idiots who voted bush in '04! You've succeeded in your goal of making the nation worse off then yourself. So even in the unlikely event that Fitzgerald cleans out all of the traitors in the White House were do we go from there with so many other traitors still in Congress and in control of corporate America? Of course every journey begans with one step so lets hope Fitzgerald gets us going with a big one!
